You might be wondering what I usually do on the weekends. Well… coffee, studying, and writing. And Mr. D is coding, of course.
Let’s start with a sunny morning — what could be better than enjoying a nice brunch and coffee? Our apartment library is such a peaceful place to study and write my blog. Many of my blog posts were created here, whether they’re about life in the U.S., China, India, or other experiences.
On weekday nights, there are often software engineers and entrepreneurs discussing their projects nearby. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, new ideas and products can suddenly be born in places like this.
As late spring gets warmer, apartment residents and their friends gather outside to enjoy the sunny weather and chat together. Meanwhile, two little kids keep running back and forth nonstop. I believe they were having the best time.
Surrounded by this energetic atmosphere, I find myself even more focused on my studies.
It was such a great weekend filled with geeky moments — and I loved every bit of it.
I know I’ll always remember this peaceful season of life.
